Obituary for Daniel Trask
TRASK, Daniel Robert:
Daniel, 28, was on his journey in the Temagami backcountry, missing since Nov. 3, 2011. With the help of the Michigan Backcountry SAR team, he was found on May 24, 2015 cradled in a thick carpet of pine needles beneath towering old growth trees, alongside a babbling brook on the east side of Lady Evelyn Lake opposite Walsh Lake.
Daniel was an avid canoeist, fisherman and had a passion for the outdoors. His spirit is now in a place that he enjoyed. He is the loving son of Maureen and Don, brother of Adam (Kelly Zavitz) and uncle to Grayson Daniel. He is loved and remembered by Rose Schade, Dolores Trask and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Daniel has joined his grandparents Bob and Shirley Trask and Douglas Schade.
In celebration of Daniel, family and friends are invited to drop in at Golf's Steakhouse, Ballroom, 598 Lancaster St. W., Kitchener, between 1 - 5 PM on Daniel's Birthday, Sunday June 7, 2015.
In memory of Daniel, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association in support of Families with Missing Loved Ones would be appreciated. Donations can be arranged through the Henry Walser Funeral Home online or by calling (519) 749-8467. Visit www.henrywalser.com for Daniel's book of memories.
