On Learning about the Discovery of your Son by Lori Moser

Dear Maureen and Don,

I am one of probably hundreds of people who discovered the Ottertooth postings by accident, and began a few years ago to follow your heartbreaking search.  I never posted, but checked regularly to read the news, follow the stories of this wonderful young man.  I guess we all secretly hoped for a miracle, but also knew the odds were not in his favour.
 
I suppose the story touched me also partly because it was so close to home -- I live in Kitchener, and so thought he could easily have been someone I had met (although I don't think so). 
 
I just wanted to write to let you know that there were probably countless silent watchers holding a hopeful vigil as I was, and to let you know that I am happy that you finally found your beloved son.  Thank-you for sharing your quest, and I wish peace and comfort to your family.
