Dej, Otto:
Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, at the age of 88. Otto Dej, or Opi to his beloved grandchildren, is no longer with us as of July 27, 2017. He will be missed by his wife of 66 years, Olga Dej, his 5 children, Sylvia (Dietmar), John (Donna), Marita (Randy), Martin, and Annette (Scott), along with his grandchildren: Michele (Ricky), Melissa, Matt, Kayla, Andrew, Kristie, Rachel and great-granddaughter Molly. Predeceased by his grandson, Jason. Special thank you to the Stroke Unit and Emergency Department at Grand River Hospital.
Otto's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke foundation and The Alzheimer Society of Canada.
