Alexander, Norman William

Passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Freeport Campus of Grand River Hospital at the age of 88. Norman was the beloved husband of Gwenyth Morrison Alexander to whom he was married for 62 years. He was the loving father of Gary Alexander (Lorrie) from Wellesley, Kathy Noel (John) from Lancaster, PA, Wendy Pound (Jamie) and Diane Alexander both from Orangeville. Norman was the cherished grandfather of Melissa Alexander and Megan Ross (David) from Kitchener, Graeme and David Jones from Orangeville and Matthew Noel (Aubrey) and Grant Noel (Sarah) from Lancaster, PA. He was adored by his great granddaughter, Emma.

Norman was predeceased by his father, William, his mother, Maude, and his brother Raymond (Hilda) from St. Lambert, QC.

Norman’s family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00–8:00pm on Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home located at 507 Frederick Street in Kitchener.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at 1:30pm. A light refreshment reception will follow.
