Allensen, Lloyd;

Passed away with his family at his side, on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of Bernice (nee: Thaler) for 65 years. Loving father of Dale (Nancy) and David (Kathy). Proud grandfather of Jeff (Christine), John (Jennifer), Stephanie and great grandfather to Ava, Logan, Kingston, Jack, and Hayden. Dear brother of Marlene Allensen, Reta Allensen, Larry (Lynn), Karen Durnin, Linda Witt (Ron) and brother-in-law of Wayne Thaler (Delores). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Elmore and Margaret (nee: Schnarr).

Lloyd was a long time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He was an extremely talented carpenter.

Lloyd's family will receive relatives and friends from 10 a.m.- 10:45 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m.on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, with the reception at the funeral home. Interment of cremated remains at Memory Gardens at a later date.
