Passed away peacefully at University Gates Long Term Care with his beloved wife Betty by his side on Sunday, March 26th, 2017. Gary was in his 76th year.
Loving father of Lynn Cober (Peter), Kenneth Elliott (Joanne), Cheryl Hollingsworth (Russ), Lynn Brading (Ron), Jody Myers, Timothy Paulitzki (Darlene). Gary will be missed and remembered by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and his sisters and brothers-in-law Ellen Clark, Jean Chambers, Ross and Marilyn Chambers and Bill Riexinger. Gary is also survived by a brother Richard.
Predeceased by parents, Stanley and Marie Padereski and his sister Dorothy.
Gary's family will receive family and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 and 12-12:45 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017. The funeral service will take place in the chapel of the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 at 1 p.m. on Thursday followed by a reception.
Spring interment will take place at Rosebank Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Schlegel Villages Charitable Foundation - University Gates Recreation Program would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
