Passed away peacefully at Chartwell Elmira Long Term Care on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Paul Nickels (1995). Loving mother of Beverley and husband Robert McKeown. Cherished grandma of James and wife Lori. Fondly remembered by Amanda and Laura. Special thanks to the staff at Chartwell Elmira for their compassionate care. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Cremation has taken place and Tatjana's ashes will be interred in Parkview Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held at the New Apostolic Church, 160 Margaret Avenue, on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
