Condolence: I have known Sally and all of you for many years. I always felt very welcomed into your home, and have enjoyed spending many Christmases and birthday celebrations there. Sally was a very special mom, and I say that because she was so 'cool'. She has children who are really interesting and she was always very accepting of everyone's quirks. I think it kept her 'young' at heart because you included her in your lives, and made her laugh! I was astounded at her taste in food, that she liked spicy Thai, and enjoyed a nice glass of wine with her guests. I loved having conversations with her and spending evenings watching old movies. I will miss those good times, but the memories will live on. I will never forget those big, smiling eyes!

Condolence: I delivered Meals on Wheels to Sally for a few years. I truly enjoyed our chats and we always shared an appreciation for the flowers she had displayed on the coffee table. She was a precious example of aging with dignity. I had already been missing her. My condolences to all her family and close friends.

Condolence: Dear Maria and Family, It was with sadness that I read of the passing of your dear Mom, Sally. For many years she served our Religious Community, the Congregation of the Resurrection, at Resurrection College. She was a woman committed to her faith, and a good steward of her many gifts and talents.
You always got an honest answer from Sally, at times being outspoken (like her sister, Sister Aloysia, with whom I worked for three years at St. Pius X in Brantford). Every time I encountered Sally after her years 'with us' was always a delight, as she was always so positive and engaged. She loved her faith and contributed to her Parish and Church life. May she rest in peace, and may the peace and consolation of our faith in the resurrection of Jesus be yours at this time of the loss of your Mom, Grandmother and Aunt. God bless you all!
