Bernice and Gus introduced me to my wife ( 39 years and counting ).

My wife, Doreen, was a nurse at the funeral home where Gus's mother was living.

Bernice asked Doreen if she would like to go out with her American cousin from Detroit.

Well that was the beginning of a long distance romance. In Deceber 1978 we were married.

Bernice was such a wonderful lady. We loved her very much.

This past December,  I was in Kitchener and had lunch with her. We shared so many memories.

We will miss her.
