Mayville, Wilfred Arthur (Buster)
Passed away peacefully at his residence with family by his side after a lengthy illness, on Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Mask). Loving father of David (Maria), Drew (Ellen), Brenda Eckert (Bill), Sharon McNall (Charlie), and Lori Shulist (Bill). Proud grandpa of Rebecca, Amy, Andrew, Angela, Brandon, Kristy, Meaghan, Bryanna, Emma, and Aaron and great-grandpa of Noah, Hudson, Levi, Marley, Jacob, Matthew, Lukas, Mackenna, and Navin. Predeceased by his brothers Lloyd and Robert, and his sisters Shirley, and Delores. Survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. He was a long time employee of BF Goodrich for 38 years. Wilfred's love was his family and we will miss him dearly. The family would like to extend their thanks to all the Doctors, Nurses and PSW workers for all the care provided to him.
Wilfred's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. on Monday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anthony Daniel R.C. Church, 29 Midland Dr., Kitchener, Ontario on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Reception will be held in the Parish Life Centre immediately following the funeral mass.
