Condolence: Anna and I wish we could be with the family at the celebration of Hugh's life. We have many happy memories. Hugh and Sam Clarke first came to Alton to consider me as the first Pastor of Glen Cairn Baptist Church. I still have 5 letters from Hugh in my file written from 409 Scenic Drive. What a privilege to minister at Glen Cairn for 5 years. Hugh was a wonderful mentor to me. We thank the Lord for his consistent Christian life.

Condolence: Our thoughts and sympathy on the passing of Hugh. He had quite a sense of humor. We enjoyed spending a day with him and Doris not that long ago. He talked of his time during the war and showed us his prized possessions from that period of his life. Very fascinating and enjoyable to hear of these things from his past. Thank you , Hugh, for your service and you will be missed.
