Passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 92.

Beloved husband of the late Pearl Bruhin and Hedwig "Hedi" Buck.
Father of Michael, of Alberta and Peter, of Switzerland and step-father of Douglas, of Arizona.
Brother of Wilhelmena "Mina" Bruhin and Margaret Devonas (the late Otto), both of Switzerland.
Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by his sister Esther Foerster, brother Alois Bruhin and his niece Suzanne Woodrich (nee Foerster).

Born on December 22, 1924 in Zurich, Switzerland. He came to Canada in 1951. Hans was a long time employee of Burns Meat, Kitchener. Hans enjoyed many years at the cottage on Naiscoot Lake. He was a member of St. Anne's Parish and 50+ year member of Hubertushaus (German Canadian Fishing and Hunting Club, Mannheim).

Hans' family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A liturgy service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home, immediately following the visitation, at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place. Reception to follow. Interment at Memory Gardens at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre or the London Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
