Teixeira, Maria Eduarda
Passed away peacefully, with family on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Roberto 50 years. Loving mother of Rita Belfry (Mike) and Emmanuel Teixeira (Sonya) and step-mother of Joe and Denise. Dear Papa of Ashton Belfry and Va Voa of Jacob, Christiana and the late Christian. Dear sister of Maria Sousa (Jose) and Espirito Santo Cabral (Manuel). Maria will be missed and remembered by many Godchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, sister Adriana Rego and brothers Jose and Jaoquim Pacheco.
Maria's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. Parish prayers 8:30 pm on Friday evening. Prayers will be offered in the funeral home at 10:20 am on Saturday, February 25, 2017 followed by a procession to St. Joseph R.C. Church, 148 Madison Avenue, Kitchener for a Funeral Mass at 11 am.
Interment Williamsburg Cemetery followed by a reception at the funeral home.
