Obituary for Mary Lloy McFadden (Snell)

Mary Lloy McFadden (Snell)
McFadden, Mary Lloy
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 28, 2017 in her 95th year. Lloy lived life to the fullest alongside her beloved husband Glenn during their 68 year marriage. She took great pride in being the mother and compass for her family of six children. Family get-togethers when children, grandchildren and great grandchildren gathered, were most special to her.
Lloy was a very giving and spiritual woman and active in her church. Leading bible studies such as Precept and Alpha gave her joy. Over her life she had the good fortune to meet and become friends with so many, perhaps because she was so giving of herself, always seeking to understand. She truly cared.
Lloy was predeceased by her husband Glenn, mother, father, siblings and their spouses. She will be forever missed by her children Cathie (Peter), David (Heather), Elspeth, Kelly (Al), John (Kym) and Jennifer (David), 15 grandchildren and their spouses, 12 great grandchildren and many friends.
Special thanks to the staff at Briarfield Gardens.
The McFadden family will receive relatives and friends at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519-749-8467) on Friday March 3, 2017 from 6-8 pm and on Saturday March 4, 2017 from 9:30-10:15 am. A celebration of Lloy’s life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 am. A private family interment will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or World Vision would be appreciated by the family. Please visit www.henrywalser.com to view Lloy's memorial.

You’ll always be in our hearts, Mom.
