Farwell, Florence (nee Walsh)
Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the age of 86.
Loving mother of Tom (Anita), Annette and Paul (Norma Jean). Cherished grandmother of Jessica (Tim), Melanie and Jacob. Predeceased by her 9 sisters and 2 brothers. Florence was born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. She worked at the KW Hospital until her retirement. Florence was a social person, who loved her music and was a member of the Legion and Army Navy Club. Special thanks to the staff at The Westmount for their compassionate care.
Florence's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 and from 10:30-11:15 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Florence's memorial.
