McAlister, James (Jim) A.
Passed away with his family at his side on Thursday, December 21st, 2017 at Grand River Hospital - Kitchener at the age of 91. Loving partner of Colleen Brown of 40 years. Step-father to Cathy Voisin (Greg), Christine Brown (the late Jeff Rasmussen) and Tracy Livingston (Mike Tsigganas). Cherished grandfather of Ryan Brown, Colin Voisin, Jake Livingston and Grace Tsigganas. Father of Ward and Brian McAlister and their families.
Jim and Colleen spent many happy years travelling, enjoying their trailer and sitting by the pond in their backyard.
Special thanks to the caring staff at Sunnyside Home and the Grand River Hospital ACE Unit.
Private family services were conducted on Friday, January 5, 2018 in the Chapel of Sunnyside Home. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sunnyside Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 519-749-8467).
