Condolence: My wife Natalie and I send our condolences to the entire Stemler family as well as to sisters Mary and Betty. I have many fond memories of times visiting the Rose farm as a youngster and later as a teenager. Doreen and Herb came to the farm on weekends to visit when I was working on a farm priming tobacco. They treated me like an adult in our conversations.
Since I have spent most of my adult life in western Canada, I regret that we did not touch base more often.

Rest in peace Doreen

Condolence: Condolences to the family...sorry to hear of the passing of a dear cousin...many fond memories especially in my youth of my many vacations on the Rose farm. Spent quality time with Doreen and Herb when they tried their hand at farming in Drumbo.

As a young boy, the two of them made me feel so welcome. Herb and I went for evening swims after a hard day's work and would return to a night of card playing... crazy eights. My most dominant memories of this lovely cousin was her smile, and her easy affectious laughter. I will always remember that ever present sparkle in her eyes that was so beautiful.

Unfortunately, I am currently recovering from major surgery and am to weak to attend the funeral but our thoughts and prayers are with the family through this always sad time,
