Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital on Friday, February 24, 2017 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Jessie (nee Todd) for 67 years. Loving father of Gord (Vera), Brian (Carol), Karen Kennedy (Jack Weststrate) and Todd (Barb). Cherished grandfather of Trevor, Kristin (Brad), Melissa (Dean), Nathan (Katherine), Larissa, and T.J. and great grandfather of Kyala, Elisha and Emerson. Predeceased by his sister Agnes (Jim).
Jim's family will receive relatives and friends from 6-9 pm on Sunday February 26, 2017 and from 7-9 pm on Monday February 27, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Tuesday February 28, 2017 at 10:30 am. Reception to follow. Cremation with interment at Williamsburg Cemetery at a later date.
