Burgess, Frank:
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 95. Frank, beloved husband of Jean (nee Wamboldt). Dear father of Brian (Penny), Valerie Cameron (Ross), Kathy Payette (Richard), and David (Maureen). Much loved grandfather of Melissa, Christina, Michael, Christine, Jennifer, Tara, Leiza, Nicholas, Audrey and Colin and great-grandfather of 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Margaret and sister Alice Marker and brother-in-law Frank. Frank served in the RCAF as Radar Technician, Royal Airforce during WWII and then remained in the Air Force for 28 years. For the last 17 years he worked within Human Resources at the University of Waterloo.
Frank's family will receive relatives and friends from 12 noon - 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 where a Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. A private cremation and interment will take place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lutherwood Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
