Passed away suddenly with family by her side at Grand River Hospital on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the age of 70. Loving mother of Tracy and her husband Gary Crouse. Proud Nana of Brittany and her husband Tim Hall. Great-Grandmother of Lily and Ryker. Predeceased by her mother Lily West. Dear sister of Paul (Maureen), Frances and Barbara (in England). Sadly missed by her dear friend Kay.
Val's family will receive relatives and friends from 3:30 - 4:15 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Friday at 4:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Private cremation taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
