Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Hospice Wellington at the age of 80.
Beloved wife of the late Patrick Astins.
Loving mother of Valerie Taylor (Tim) and Vanda Phelan (Gene).
Cherished "Trixie" to Tim Jr. (Christel) and their children Hayden and Colten, Travis (Leeann Cooper) and their children Kayleb and Lily, Katie (Dan Purschke) and Eden Phelan.
Fondly remembered by her sisters Betty Krueger and Grace Golem.
Will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her infant daughter, Vanessa Hatfield, her brother, Alfred Forbes, and her parents, Donald Forbes and Barbara (the late Charles) Leno .

Yvonne's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Cremation has taken place.
