On the Feast day of St. Joseph, Sunday, May 1, 2016, Wib peacefully transitioned to eternal life surrounded by the love of family at Chartwell Westmount at the age of 91. Wib was born in Kitchener on April 28th, 1925.
Beloved husband of the late Maria Voll (nee Brett) (2006) for 57 years. Devoted father of Margaret Anne Voll (Colin Westman), Cecile Davis (Jeff Davis), Karen Voll-Ingram (James Ingram), Robert Voll, Kathleen Kennedy (Sean Kennedy) and the late Rosemary Voll (Richard Cybulski). Cherished grandfather of Matthew Ingram, Andrew Ingram, Ryan Westman, Sara-Margaret Westman, Cassandra Voll, Adam Voll, Tara Kennedy and Sina Kennedy. Dear brother of Carl Voll (the late Agnes). Special uncle to Patrick, Leeanna, John and Sara Pendergast. Remembered by brother-in-law Frank Pendergast (Kathy - 2014) and brother-in-law Frank Voisin.
Predeceased by sisters Dorothy Kraft (Ralph), Bernice White (Harry), Rita Karges (George), Glady Voisin, Olive Pfeffer (Harold) and brother Gerald Voll (Alma). Proudly served as an ASDIC operator on the HMCS Stellarton in World War II. After the war, Wib was a co-founder and owner of Beauty Unlimited.
A Funeral Mass celebrating a life lived with a deep commitment to faith and family, will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 49 Blueridge Avenue, Kitchener on Friday, May 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. Fr. Joseph de Viveiros officiating. In lieu of visitation, the family invites all friends and relatives to attend a celebration of Wib’s life at a reception following the Funeral Mass. Private cremation.
Thanks to the loving care in the last four years of Wib's life by Eva Michnova and Linda Stewart, Wib was able to remain in the family home where he resided for almost 60 years and raised his 6 children.

If desired, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church, where Wib and Maria were founding members and faithful parishioners.
Private interment May 10, 2016 on the anniversary date of Wib's Baptism.
