Dear aunt, dear sis

You were my beloved aunt, no, you were more than that: you were my sis. When you, uncle Charlo and little Andrea left for Canada, I was very sad. I was rebellious, I couldn't cope with the idea of not seeing you any more for a long time! Times were different then. The ocean between us was vast, and letters took weeks to get across. But although the material distance was real, there was never a spirtual distance.

Dear aunt, dear sis, I will miss you as I always have missed you. In my heart you'll rest in peace forever..
