Surrounded by her family, Carmen passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Riverbend Place, Cambridge, at the age of 81. A resident of Cambridge and formerly of Oshawa.
Beloved wife of 54 years to Joseph. Loving mother of Adrian (Simona), Brian (Nicole), Patrick (Michelle), Ian (Kendra). Cherished Nanny to Sophie, Joshua, Matthew, Gabriel, William, Eden, Robyn, and Romeo. Dear sister of Tony (Mae) Vella, Sister Emmanuelina Vella, Romeo (Gina) Vella, Josephine (Samson) Legeusse, Emma Peterman. Sister-in-law of Miriam and Vivienne Vella. Survived also by her many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Vincent and Maria Vella, siblings Fr. Diego Vella, Lawrence Vella, Tommy Vella and George Vella (in infancy).
Carmen's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 11 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. with the Memorial Funeral Liturgy at 1 p.m. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery. Private cremation has taken place.
