It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Farid Lafi Marji, he passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the age of 97.
Loving Father of Peter Said (Sue), Joe Said (Abla), Issa Marji (Elaine), Mosa Marji (Cathy), Ruth Haddad (Sam), Avon Marji (Salman), Diana Karadesh, Nicki Qubrossi and Ibraham Said.
Beloved grandfather of 26 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Farid's family will receive relatives and friends from 7- 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 1 p.m.
Interment at Parkview Cemetery (335 University Ave, Waterloo) following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
