KNILL, Ross Kenneth
June 26, 1936 - May 25, 2017
Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Hospice Wellington in his 81st year. Beloved husband and soul mate of the late Elizabeth Ann Knill. Loving father of Richard Knill, Jeffrey Knill (Donna), Karen Inglis (Brian) and Stephen Ricker (Karen). Cherished Papa of Leanne (Shannon), Scotty (Rebecca), James, Hana, Samantha, Liza, Allison, Dakota and great grandfather of Elliott McLaughlin. He will be sadly missed by his brother Carl (Vicky), sister-in-law Joan McNeil and many nieces and nephews. Ross had a great love of music. He sang with the Twin City Harmonizers for many years, along with the Rockway Entertainers. Ross was also an associate member of the RCAF 404 Wing.
Cremation has taken place.
The Knill family will receive relatives and friends from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 and from 10-10:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519) 749-8467. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Mary's Hospital Foundation - Cardiac Care or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
