Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Innisfree House at the age of 80.

Beloved wife of the late Jose Custodio (August 2016).
Loving mother of Louis (Goret) and Victor (Natalie).
Cherished Vavo of Cortney (Andre), Katie (Nav), Caleb and Olivia.
Dear sister of Maria Baptista Lima and Matilde Simas.
Will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Survived by her sister-in-law Maria da Conceicao Simas.
Predeceased by her brothers; Manuel, Goulart, Americo and Germano Simas and her sister Delfina Simas (in infancy).

Delfina's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Holy Rosary at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 300 Simeon St. Kitchener, on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Innisfree House (to support Team Delfina Custodio for the Hike for Hospice), would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).

Delfina's family would like to thank the CCAC nurses; Judy, Margo and Katie and the many care givers from CCAC and Bayshore, for their care and support. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Innisfree House for the compassionate care given to Delfina and also to her family.
