Passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the age of 82.
Beloved husband of 58 years to Lorraine Nowak (nee: Spielmacher).
Loving father to Elaine Nowak-Wheeler (Derwin), William (Fran) Nowak, Karen (Gary) Strauss, Teresa (Bruce) Dawson, Gini (Dale) Kicksee, Ted (Lorri) Nowak and Gerry Nowak.
Cherished Grandpa to Dallas, Christopher, Chelsea, Katelyn, Ashley, Colin, Nicole, Adam, Tyler, Emma and Amber, Great-grandpa to Lincoln.
Survived by his sisters Anna (Bob) Dannecker, Cecilia (Don) Patterson and Marie Moyer.
He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by siblings Margaret, Stanley, Charles, Caroline, Bernard, John and Louis.
Ted's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service to celebrate his life will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 10:30 a.m.
Interment at Memory Gardens following the service.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
