Passed away after a short illness, on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital at the age of 54.
Survived by his girlfriend Loraine, his parents Elwood and Nancy Yantzi, sister Susan Billings and nephew Jesse Billings.
Mike's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at St. Mary's Hospital- 6th floor and ICU for their compassionate care.
