Obituary for Korpo Jorgbo (Jorgbo)

Korpo Jorgbo (Jorgbo)
In memory of a loving mother, daughter, sister, friend, and fighter; Korpo Mama Jorgbo
She died peacefully at Grand River Hospital in the arms of her daughter, on November, 28, at 12:30 a.m. after battling cancer for a year and 4 months, even though in excruciating pain she was able to maintain a beautiful, contagious smile. In her last days she remained hopeful, cheerful, and relaxed. She didn’t want anybody to be sad, we were strong because her positive vibes helped lift our spirits.
She was a loving and caring mother to her daughter, Kita Totimeh, a sister to Galima, Felicia, Jackie and Christian Jorgbo, mother, Evenly Jorgbo, father, Mathew Jorgbo, step-brother Tony Woart, and friends to many in the Liberia Community. She was a lovely person that made everyone laugh and fall in love with her; she inspires those around her with her dedication to her family, to her work, and to her passion. Korpo lived an extraordinary, and zealous life from birth, born in Monrovia, Liberia, she was very high-spirited and passionate about everything she did. She studies at Conestoga college where she went on to work as a personal support worker for 7 years, it wasn’t until 2014, when she went to do culinary and fell ill shortly after. During her time in the hospital- she kept the faith and remain hopeful about her condition, she never failed to make the nurses, doctors, and her visitors laugh and smile. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, co-workers, friends, and community around Canada, America, and Africa.
Even though she is gone, it's hard to be sad. We all know she would rather we celebrate the wonderful life she lived, the lives she touched, and the memories she engraved in our hearts.
She was loved and cherished by many; may her soul rest in perfect peace.
Isaiah 57:1 the righteous perish, and the merciful are taken away, but no one lays it to heart that the Lord takes the righteous away before the overwhelming evil calamity that should come.
