Yandt, Wayne Ervin
Passed away peacefully, with his beloved wife Linda by his side, on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the age of 74. Loving father of Robert, Debbie (Howard) and stepfather of Doug (Lisa), Debbie (Dean) and Kathy (Brian). Proud grandfather of Kristy, Amanda, 5 step-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Dianne, Brenda (Guy), Neil (Claire) and Craig (Gloria). Predeceased by his first wife Lois, brother Larry and his sister Joy. Wayne worked for Grand River Transit for many years. He enjoyed outdoor activities including motorcycling and fishing.
Cremation has taken place.
Wayne's family will receive relatives and friends from 11:30 am -12:45 pm on Sunday December 18, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Sunday at 1 pm. Reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
