Passed away peacefully away at home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in Kitchener, Ontario. Betty, beloved wife and best friend of Gerry Steinke. Loving mother of Maggie Van Luven and stepmom of Tiffany Steinke-Roblin (Steven). She will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends.
Betty's family will receive relatives and friends from 1:30-2:45 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Private cremation taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Ladybird Animal Sanctuary (www.ladybirdanimalsanctuary.com) would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
