Passed away peacefully with family by her side at St. Mary's Hospital on Thursday January 5, 2017 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of Antonio for over 71 years. Loving mother of Anibal, Tony (Augusta), George (Eduarda) and the late Fernando and Arminda. Survived by daughter-in-law Teresa and son-in-law Julio Afonso. Proud Avo of Steven, Kenny, Jackie, Rebecca, Denis, Nelson, Nancy, Monica, Claudia, Michael, Jessica, Jennifer, Jacqueline and many great grandchildren.
Carminda's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Sunday January 8, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers 8 pm Sunday. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 300 Simeon St., on Monday January 9, 2017 at 10 am. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Portuguese Club.
