Obituary for Dirk (Dick) Willem (William) Rotteveel
Rotteveel, Dick Wm.:
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dick Wm. Rotteveel on Thursday, February 2, 2017 only a week before his 83rd birthday.
He will be very much missed by his wife, soulmate, business partner and best friend of 61 years, Louise. Beloved Dad (Opa) to daughter Helen Derby and husband Bob, grandchildren Bryan (Jen), Mark (Jean-Anne) and great-grandchildren, Weston and Lilly. Predeceased by his son Richard (Nov 2016). Remembered by his daughter-in-law Barb, grandsons Jason and Craig and their families.
Dick was the proud owner/operator of Parry Sound Bakery and Rotteveel Bakeries in the K-W area. He will be missed by many family and friends.
A celebration of his life visitation will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Monday, February 6th, 2017 from 7-9pm. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully appreciated.
