Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Freeport Health Centre in his 72nd year.
Beloved husband to Carol (nee: Sobisch) for 48 years.
Loving father to Christine (Fred).
Cherished papa to William (Ashley), Jamie (Jessica) and Brandon (Jordan).
Survived by his mother Ivon, siblings James (Faye), Velma (Gary), William (Judy) and Larry (Kathy) and sister-in-law Shirley.
Predeceased by his father Ira and son in infancy Donald Harold Jr.
He will also be missed by his furry friends.
For many years he was owner/operator of City Cabs (22).
Cremation has taken place.
Donald's family will receive relatives and friends from 1- 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
A private family interment will take place at a later date.
