The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Michael Hammar can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Mike was a long standing friend and client of Fifth Wheel Financial just down the road from his house.

We spent many hours enjoying his stories of biking trips he'd made when we should have been doing his paperwork.

Such an engaging guy, such a biking enthusiast, such a friendly soul.

Have a good ride my friend, Sorry we never got to do that trip to-gether.

Condolence: My sincere sympathy on Mike's passing. Mike always liked to tease me about only seeing me in the yard at work when the sun was shining. All he had to do was look up when he saw me and we would both laugh. He will be missed.

Condolence: Sincere condolences to the family left behind by a true friend and past employee of J&R Hall Transport. Munchkin as we all new him was one of the best and most professional guys on the road. He was not just a trucker, but a guy who loved the road for many years. In his Freightliner or on one of his bikes. Travel was in his blood. Even when he retired from here, he had to drive/travel. WFS allowed him to slow the pace and still live his dream. All who knew him benefited from his smile and sense of humor and if he liked you, sometimes a smart ... comment. We will miss the visits my friend. RIP Munchkin from all of your friends at J&R Hall.
