Brilhante, Maria Ana (1935-2017)
Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at London Health Sciences at the age of 82. Predeceased by her husband Luis Brilhante, daughter Ana Maria Brilhante and son Nazario Brilhante. Loving mother of Maria (John), Alvaro (Ruth), Chris (Jack), Irineu "Ernie" (Mary), Jose, Luis (Julianne), Wayne and Bernadette (Jason). Proud Avo of 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Survived by a sister in Toronto and by 3 sisters and 2 brothers in Portugal. We will miss you Mom, you were the sunshine in our lives. We love you.
Maria's family will receive relatives and friends from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Prayers 8:45 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass at St. Anne's R.C. Church, 268 East Ave., on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow in the Church Hall. Private Cremation has taken place.
