Obituary for John Cormack Ingram

John Cormack Ingram
Ingram, John C.:
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of John C. Ingram (79 years of age) on March 9, 2017. Especially missed by his wife Germaine (the love of his life). John adored his daughter Sandra Shaughnessy (Gary) of Waterloo both of whom he was so proud. Predeceased by his beautiful daughter Sherelle Hodgson (Keith). Dearest brother of Ross Ingram (Carmen) of Oakville. Loving grandpa of Michael Shaughnessy (Jennifer), Christopher Hodgson (Emma), Michelle Hodgson (Daren), Kevin Hodgson (Michelle). Very proud great grandpa of Olivia, Kylie and Abigail. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews Laura and Romualdo, Carina and Dan and their families. John will be sadly missed by Germaine's sisters Mona and Ann and brother Jim (Hedy). Especially remembered by Bonnie Miller and all his cousins. John had many friends and welcomed them with his uplifting personality. He will be missed by all staff and clients at Central Fresh Market where he demonstrated their products in the meat department, most especially the kids who nicknamed John "Mr. Sausage". Cremation has taken place as per John's wishes. A Celebration of his life will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. A Private Family Celebration will be held in June in Cottage Country.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the SickKids Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
