Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of family on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Tibor for 50 years. Beloved mother of Tibor (Andrea) and Rob. Grandmother of Mark. Dear sister of Silvia Moza (the late Gabriel) and Florian Popa (Elena). Viorica will also be missed and remembered by Gabriel (Meg), Laura Moza Ohashi (Darin), Alexandru and family and Alin and family. Prior to coming to Canada Viorica enjoyed teaching violin to many students in Romania.
Viorica's family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, March 19, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. Prayers 7 p.m. on Sunday evening. The funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 20, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Romanian Orthodox Church, 2150 Bleams Road, Kitchener. Rev. Fr. Ionut Maerean officiating.
Interment Parkview Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
