WILHELM, Lorne George

Born March 12, 1934 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Innisfree Hospice at the age of 83 with family by his side.

Predeceased by the love of his life for 63 years, Lillian in August 2014.

Beloved mother of Brian (Sheila), Brenda Coulombe, Heather Brook, and Carl (Lori).

Cherished grandfather of Kristin (Dennis), Lindsey, Neil (Crystal), Tamara (Carl), Shea (Carol), Lee (Maggie), Kyle (Mel), Brandon (Melissa) and Cameron (Emily).
Great-grandfather ("Papa") of Kayleigh, Mia, Skyla, Keian, Lavana, Jadalynn, Austin, Kaira, and Lilliana.

Survived by his brother Rodger Keller (Verla) and Russ Hartwick (Jean) and their families. Special friend of Jane Newlands.

Predeceased by his parents Katherine and George and his sister Mary.
Lorne was a Mason and a Shriner and worked for many years at J.M. Schneiders.
Special thanks to Margo and all the wonderful nurses and PSWs from Paramed who took such great care of our father and became part of the family by helping to fulfill his wish of staying in his own home until almost the very end.
We were privileged to have our dad spend his final days at Innisfree Hospice where they took wonderful care of him in a beautiful environment.

Cremation has taken place and the family invites you to join them for a Celebration of Life for both Lorne and Lillian from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener (519) 749-8467.
