Ray, Jean (Longtime Employee - Electrohome)
Born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Jean passed away with family at her side at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Alf Ray. Loving mother of Gail (Gary Grafe), Debbie Ray, Laurie Brubacher and Steve Ray (late Marina Haufe). Dear grandmother of Shannon (Rudi), Jeff, Ryan and Jennifer, great-grandmother of Renee and Rachelle, and great-great-grandmother of Neysean and Troy. Predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters.
A Memorial Service to Celebrate Jean's Life will be held at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 4 p.m. Reception to follow. Cremation has taken place. Jean was a very giving woman, and would have preferred donations to the KW Humane Society, in lieu of flowers (cards available at the funeral home).
