Condolence: I cannot express how shocked and saddened I am to hear of Jan's passing.

Jan and I met working together at the Fox and the Pheasant a lifetime ago in Waterloo. We became fast friends and for a few years I counted her among my very closest friends; very few days went by where we didn't talk on the phone or see each other. I loved her very much. Our lives went in different directions but I was fortunate enough to reconnect with Janvier through Facebook and even managed to meet up with her just before she got married. I was so happy to learn she became a mother and knew she took the job seriously and wholeheartedly. I will always remember her beautiful, infectious smile, her fearlessness leading a life true to her beliefs, and her quick laugh. Oh, and her dance moves!
My deepest condolences to her family. I wish for her girls to grow up to be as strong, kind and unforgettable as their mom. She is missed.
