With great sadness the family announces the sudden but peaceful passing of Jean on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Robert Brighton (2016). Loving mother of Karen Campbell (Jim), Susan Clair (Art Benson), Diane Barnard (Tim) and David Clair (Lynn). Loved by her second family David Brighton (Debbie) and their family. Proud Grandma of Bryan Campbell (Brianne), Jonathan Campbell (Julie), Ashleigh Molinaro (David), Jennifer Kennedy (Brennan), Jeffrey Klochnyk (Sherry), David Klochnyk (Jaclyn), Daniel Barnard (Ashley), Patrick Barnard (Stephanie), Adam Barnard (Brittany), Laura Barnard, Andrew Clair (Julia-anna) and Matthew Clair. Great grandmother of 12 and one on the way. Predeceased by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Mom's passion was her family and she had immeasurable love and pride for all of us. She embraced life completely through her fervent love of lawn bowling and a host of other activities. Her amazing relationship with Bob was a model of devotion as they travelled to Arizona and beyond. She will be greatly missed.
Jean's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
