Condolence From: Marty Beveridge
Condolence: Extremely saddened to hear of John's passing. A big man with a big heart who's regal bearing and personality made him the best Drum Major the OPP Pipe Band ever had. For years he represented the OPP and the band with dignity and pride. To his family I extend my heartfelt condolences. Rest in Peace Sir. Marty Beveridge

Condolence: Karen's Family and John's brother Earle So sorry to read of your loss. Karen we have never met but when we were "much" younger John and I (Bob) use to chum around to gather and I have many good memories. John gave me a couple of his Band Major cards when they were here in Owen Sound years ago. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Condolence From: Paul Junop
Condolence: I remember John back in the old days when he marched in the Pipes and Drums while I and buddies rode in the Golden Helmets. We did a good number of events together around the province and shared a few pints together over heavy discussions on fixing the world and other laughable topics. He always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye. Well done John Bean. Rest in peace. Condolences to all the family. Paul Junop

Condolence From: Ray & Jan Martinelli
Condolence: Dear Karen, Jan and I are deeply saddened to hear of John's passing. He was a lot of fun and as a brother in law...one of the best. He has always been very good to our boys and generous to his nephews on their birthdays. While we grew apart we often thought fondly of him and the good times we shared. We now cherish all the memories! Peace be with him and with you.

Condolence From: Bruce and Debbie and Knight
Condolence: Dear Karen We are sending our very deepest heartfelt condolences to you and your family at the loss of your dearest John. We haven't seen him for quite a long time and have always missed his amazing wit and sense of humour. His pride in having himself and his band always looking their best was evident. The respect he showed to the members and to the public at all times was appreciated more than he knew. We especially remember his dismay at inspecting Bruce’s uniform before a performance and finding nothing to correct causing him to leave with nothing more than a grimace! We are all creatures of this great earth, interconnected in ways beyond understanding and when one of us passes, the rest need to mourn. And, we will mourn the passing of a wonderful man May there be comfort in knowing that with a quick thought, closing of your eyes, the wipe away of a tear, the beating of your heart, memories of John will be there for you always. Rest in paradise John you will be missed and definitely never forgotten. You are at peace and that gives us comfort... Until we meet again...
