Leitch, Robert William David
Passed away peacefully with family by his side, on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Hospice Wellington at the age of 59. Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Mackay) for 34 years. Loving father of Kendra and Shawn. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Ruth Leitch. Dear brother of Joan Thibault and Lois Huck, and brother-in-law of Don Mackay (Heather), the late Bruce Mackay (Linda), and Cathy Downer (Doug). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Robert was a member of the Quality Control Council of Canada since 1986 and Boilermakers Local 128, as well a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Kitchener.
Robert's family will receive relatives and friends from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 and from 10 a.m. -10:45 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017, followed by a memorial service in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Private cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Wellington or Hope Spring Cancer Support Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
