Passed away peacefully after a long illness, on Sunday, May 7th, 2017 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Dianne (nee: Carlberg).
Loving Dad to Randy (Jo-Anne), Penny (Paul) Grominsky , Jackie (Bill) Medeiros , Tammy (Carl) Boomhouwer, Jeff (Marlene) and Kerri (Marko) Paranosic.
Will forever be remembered by his 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Survived by his siblings Betty (Gerry) Dietrich, Doreen (Lorne) Hogan and Sandra Roehrig.
Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Priscilla.
Jack was founder and president of A & A Paving Ltd. which was established in 1966.
Jack's family will receive relatives and friends from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, May 11th, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Francis of Assisi RC Church (49 Blueridge Avenue Kitchener) on Friday, May 12th, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. Interment Williamsburg Cemetery. Reception to follow the burial at Henry Walser Funeral home.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation- Dialysis Unit or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
