The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Susan Usher can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I was both shocked and saddened to hear of Sue's passing. As a fellow Student Activity Secretary I can recall clearly and fondly Sue's smile and laughter at meetings and dinners each school would host. She was a lovely lady and will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Condolence From: The Sudbury Fellbaums
Condolence: So sorry to hear of Susan's passing. Many beautiful memories of our Fellbaum crew visiting Kitchener and your gracious and loving family. Your mom and dad were the best uncle and aunt ever and the girls always made sure that our stays were exciting and fun. Although we have had only periodic contact over the years your family has continued to be a part of our great childhood memories and you have been in our prayers. Thanks to all of you. Be assured that Susan is in our prayers as is her family. We extend our love to you. Tony Fellbaum

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Sue's passing. We shared many fun times in your parents home - tenting in the back yard, playing cards with your family, going to the Bridgeport drive-in in that little Volkswagen she had and eating burgers and fries from Sonny's. She was a great friend from a loving supportive family and I thank you for letting me be a part of that. Lynda Eunson

Condolence: Karen and Family....deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mom. I remember fondly all the times her and Ken spent at the Farm, planting and taking care of the garden, along with the many summer vacations Cheryl and I stayed at your home on Pinedale. She was always great taking us to the Pool swimming and for walks in the local park.

Condolence From: Lisa Woodley
Condolence: When I think of Sue, I think of laughter, pranks, jokes, honesty, transparency, warmth, dedication, caring, and going the extra mile. She meant the world to my dad, Don Woodley, whom she worked with for so many years at KCI, and she was always the first person to step up to the plate when work was needed, when an event needed organization, or simply when a KCI student needed help. She was a dear family friend to us, and such an inspiration to others. I loved her, and all she brought to those around her. The world has lost an amazing person, and she shines as an inspiration to us all as we try to pick up the torch and carry on. Karen and Katharine, my thoughts are with you. -Lisa

Condolence: Mrs. Usher was one of my favourite staff at KCI. I worked with her a lot in students council back in the early nineties. She was always calm and kind and had time for you when you needed it. I kinda felt like she was our mom at school. Sad to hear she's gone but know she touched many lives. My sincere sympathy to her family.
