Eckmeier, Herta:
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 9th, 2017 at Forest Heights Long Term Care at the age of 79.
Loving mother of Roy (Mary Lou), John (Debra) and Mike (Kathleen).
Cherished "Oma" of Michael, Terry, Ashley, Allison, David, and Alexander and "Old Oma" to Avery.
Survived by her brother Helmut (Erna) Fritz, her nephew, Robert and her niece, Lydia.
Will be remembered and greatly missed by her extended family.
Predeceased by her husband, Hans (2008).

A celebration of Herta's life will be held on Thursday, July 13th, 2017 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
