Obituary for Mary Nolan (Bruce)

Mary Nolan (Bruce)
Nolan, Mary (nee Bruce) 1922-2017
Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at Columbia Forest LTC on July 31, 2017 in her 95th year. Mary was the wife of the late Simon Nolan (2016) and mother to their predeceased son Edward (1997). Left to mourn her loss are her 4 children Bruce (Gini), Barbara Pearce (Bill), Janet Armstrong (Don) and Bill (Patti). Much loved and admired by 11 grandchildren, Rob (Carolyn), Becky (Rob), Michael (Shanna), Steven (Breanne), Kara (David), Craig (Erin), Brent (Kelcey), Kyle (Erin), Lauren (Trent), Michaela (Patrick) and Liam and 6 great-grandchildren, Carter, Reid, Leighton, Hudson, Abby, and Grayson. We will always treasure our mom's commitment to family, all the wonderful sweaters she knit with TLC, delicious balanced meals and her outstanding baking, especially her homemade bread.
Mary's family will receive relatives and friends from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., (519) 749-8467. Prayer Service 8 p.m. Thursday. Prayers will also be offered at the funeral home on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 10:20 a.m. followed by a procession to St. Francis of Assisi RC Church, 49 Blueridge Ave., for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Fr. Tim Uniac C.R. officiating. Reception to follow in the church hall.
