Kay, Barbara Frances (nee Buschlen)
Loving wife of Grant for 54 years and cherished mother of Jennifer Sparks (Locheil), passed away unexpectedly at their lifelong home on Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Barb was predeceased by her parents Frank and Margaret Buschlen and leaves behind sisters Beverley Dalzilio (Carlo) and Karen Hallman (Doug). Barb will be deeply missed by all those who met and knew her over her lifetime, including her community of Bloomingdale and the street-rodding community across North America.
Cremation has taken place.
Barb's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Friday August 11, 2017 and from 9:30-10:15 am on Saturday August 12, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10:30 am. Reception to follow.
